Two researchers from the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design at Lodz University of Technology (TUL) Anna Bacciarelli-Ulacha i Agnieszka Cichocka recently completed a long-term research stay at the University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway, as part of the AIdesignTEX project.

The visit was hosted by Professor Chandima Ratnayake, who supervised and supported the team during their stay. Thanks to his guidance, the researchers had the opportunity to work intensively on project-related tasks, exchange knowledge with international colleagues, and explore new approaches to integrating artificial intelligence and circular economy principles into textile design.

It was a very productive month, filled not only with scientific work but also with valuable discussions and networking. Beyond academic activities, the researchers also had the chance to experience the beauty of Norway's landscapes and the warm hospitality of its people.

Such research stays strengthen international cooperation and contribute to building long-term relations between project partners, while at the same time enriching the personal and professional experience of the participants.
