Eva Loccufier

Eva Loccufier, a specialist in fiber materials and sustainable applications. Her research focuses on fiber functionalization and closed-loop textile design, and she supports research and workshops in the AIDesignTex project.

Eva Loccufier graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ghent University (Belgium) in 2017 with a Master of Science in Sustainable Materials Engineering with a major in Polymers and Fiber Structures. She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Engineering in 2022. Her research focuses on the functionalization and processing of fiber materials for advanced engineering applications (e.g. catalysis and filtration). The recent focus is on developing ecological fiber materials for sustainable applications and their closed-loop textile design.

Eva will support the research and workshops within the AIDesignTex-project.
