We are pleased to share another media feature highlighting the pressing issue of textile waste management. The European project AIdesignTEX, led by Lodz University of Technology, was presented in the national TV program "Zielona Polska" as an example of how AI and machine learning can support circular solutions for the textile sector.

The program addressed the urgent challenge of textile waste utilization – a problem that lies at the very heart of the AIdesignTEX project. Coordinated by Lodz University of Technology under the leadership of Prof. Katarzyna Grabowska, and in collaboration with Ghent University, the University of Stavanger, and the Catholic University of Ávila, the project focuses on developing innovative methods that apply artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to manage textile waste in line with the principles of the circular economy.

Watch the program (in Polish): Only 1% is recycled into new clothes. Poles came up with an idea how to change it

We are proud to add that this was the most-clicked feature of the weekend
