Agnieszka Cichocka

Dr hab. Eng. Agnieszka Cichocka is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Textiles and Design Lodz University of Technology, where she has been working since 2010. She obtained her M.Sc. Eng. degree in Clothing Engineering from Lodz University of Technology and completed a joint PhD (cotutelle) under a French government scholarship at ENSAIT Roubaix and the University of Science and Technology Lille. She defended her doctoral thesis with distinction in 2008 in France, specializing in Instrumentation and Advanced Analysis. Between 2008 and 2010, she worked as a research and teaching assistant (ATER) at ENSAIT

Her research focuses on innovative approaches to garment design, including 3D clothing design, virtual prototyping, CAD-based modeling, and garment fit analysis. She is also involved in research on advanced protective clothing structures made from mineral fibers.

Dr hab. Eng. Agnieszka Cichocka is the author and co-author of over 30 scientific and conference publications, co-author of five chapters in international monographs, as well as a patent and a utility model. She is a member of the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN KT 24), supervises MSc and BSc theses, and serves as an auxiliary supervisor of doctoral dissertations.

She holds professional certifications in project management (IMPA Level D and PRINCE2 Foundation) and completed postgraduate studies in research management and commercialization. She has participated in numerous research and educational projects as a researcher and expert and currently coordinates a nationally funded educational project.
