On June 16, 2025, the AIDesignTex team actively participated in Łódzkie Sploty Biznesu 2025 – Entrepreneur's Day, held at the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design of Lodz University of Technology (TUL). The event brought together over 90 representatives from industry, design, academia, student communities, and local authorities to discuss the modern, innovative, and sustainable future of the textile and apparel sector in the Łódź region.

One of the highlights of the day was the Round Table "Weaving the Future", organised as part of the AIDesignTex project. This open dialogue space focused on the future of a sustainable textile and apparel cluster in the Łódź region. It served as a platform for businesses, researchers, and institutions to exchange perspectives, explore collaboration opportunities, and identify priorities for building a competitive and sustainable textile ecosystem.

The discussion addressed the growing impact of EU sustainability regulations, including the Circular Economy framework and the Digital Product Passport, as well as opportunities for regional companies to leverage innovation and R&D for global competitiveness. We also explored the role of support mechanisms offered through regional funds and development programmes.

We were delighted with the high level of interest and engagement from participants – confirming that collaboration between business, academia, and institutions is essential for shaping the textile future of our region.
