During the first part of the meeting, we discussed the role of the Catholic University of Avila (UCAV) in the AIdesignTEX project. We analyzed the work packages involving our partner and reviewed the planned training sessions and seminars to be conducted by the UCAV team.
Next, we were introduced to the university's project creation and settlement procedures, the vice-rectorate structure, the research teams operating at UCAV, as well as the ongoing scientific and educational projects. The discussion also covered potential funding sources and opportunities for future international collaboration. Importantly, UCAV demonstrates a strong commitment to cooperation, eagerly engaging in new project initiatives and offering innovative ideas for research and academic development.
Following the administrative, financial, and research discussions, we had the opportunity to visit UCAV's educational and research laboratories. The university provides education in a wide range of fields – from economics to chemistry and pharmacy. It is a dynamic institution that fosters an interdisciplinary approach to learning and research.
